While whites and neutrals are common in a minimalist kitchen design, you can still add personality and character to your kitchen with a splash of colour, whether that be in decorative accessories or perhaps a feature splashback. Large windows and simple pendant lighting can assist to brighten up the space and add an element of class. Elegant bar stools around the island bench can also add warmth and character.
Taking cues from the property’s location – nestled on the side of a nature reserve – the challenge was to blend style and luxury with greenery and secondary light that entered the kitchen through the branches of the natural flora. This required clever thought and consideration when it came not only to the actual layout, but also to the planning of colours and light sources.
